Mrs. Ingeborg Waltruad King, 86, of Clarksville, TN formerly of Murray, KY, died Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at the Sterling House Assisted Living in Clarksville, TN.
Mrs. King was born in Germany on May 10, 1925. Mrs. King arrived in the United States of America in 1952. Mrs. King was married to the late John F. King, after meeting in Germany while Mr. King was serving in the Army. In 1973 Mr. and Mrs. King moved from Texas to Hazel, KY. Mrs. King represented the Welcome Wagon in Murray, was a member of the Eastern Star, worked and volunteered with the Shriners on various events and was a member of the St. Leo Catholic Church.
Mrs. King is survived by one sister, Ms. Gisela Eberhard of Germany; two nephews, Mr. Manfred Spingler and family and Mr. Herbert Spingler and family all of Germany.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Leo Catholic Church with Father Jason McClure officiating. Burial to follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 22, 2011 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
