Mr. James A. "Jitter" Allbritten age 77, of Murray, Ky., died Sunday, March 3, 2013 at the Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Ky.
Mr. Allbritten was born May 7, 1935 in Logan, W.V., to the late James R. and Iva Mae Morgan Allbritten. He was a retired Supervisor for Air Products in Calvert City, after 52 years of service. He was also a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ, and a graduate of New Concord high school.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Parker Allbritten of Murray; they married May 7, 1957 in Murray, Ky., daughter, Karen Cain and husband Daryl of Murray, two sons, Kevin Allbritten and wife Sherrie of Palm Harbor, Fla., Kritt Allbritten and wife Stacy of Paducah, Ky., sister, Polly Carroll of Paducah, Ky., brother, Bill Allbritten and wife Carol of Aberdeen, Md., five grandchildren, Tori Glover of Murray, Richard Allbritten,Westley Allbritten,and Alyssa Allbritten all of Palm Harbor, Fla., and Ali Allbritten of Paducah, Ky., also a special friend, Gabby.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, John Dale and Jason Hart will officiate, and entombment will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
