Mr. James T. "Cookie" Cook, age 76, of Murray, Kentucky died on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House in Murray, Kentucky.
He was a member of the Westside Baptist Church, a veteran of the United State Marines serving from 1956-1959. He worked 28 years for Kroger. Last 25 years was Director of Distributions in Livonia Michigan. He retired in 1995. His hobbies included Bowling and Golf.
He was born in Calloway County, Kentucky May 9, 1940 to the late Wyane and Marian L Garner Cook. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by one son, James Cook Jr. and one sister, Mitzy Cook Jones Billington.
James is survived by his wife, Rose Ann Cook of Murray, Kentucky. They were married October 15, 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada. In addition to his wife he is also survived by two daughters, two sons, eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; also, survived by nephew, Matthew Boardman and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Melvin and Rita Henley of Murray, Kentucky.
