Mr. James "Michael" Dick, age 57, of Murray, Kentucky died on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at the Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Mr. Dick was born in Benton, Kentucky on November 21, 1960. He was the manager at Bumper to Bumper, formerly Car Quest, in Murray, Kentucky and was a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ.
Mr. Dick was preceded in death by his father, James F. Dick.
Mr. Dick is survived by his wife, Betty Kay Dick of Murray, Kentucky, to whom he married on March 29, 1991 in Benton, Kentucky; his mother, Nancy Dick of Benton, Kentucky; three sons, Jacob Mathis and wife Suzanne of Clarksville, Tennessee, Caleb Mathis of Murray, Kentucky and Bryan Dawes and wife Julie of Newark, Ohio; two sisters, Rachel Mitchell and husband Justin of Paducah, Kentucky and Cindy McWherter of Gilbertsville, Kentucky; two brothers, Terry Dick and Jeff Dick both of Benton, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Harper Mathis and Jameson Mathis both of Clarksville, Tennessee; as well as several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Kenneth Holt officiating. Burial will follow in the Dowdy Cemetery in Benton, Kentucky. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
