James B. Edwards

Mr. James B. Edwards age 91, of Murray, Kentucky, died Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at his home.
Mr. Edwards was born on March 20, 1925 in Puryear, Tennessee to the late Charlie and Edith Broach Edwards. He worked as a freight agent for L&N/CSX for 43 years and after retiring worked for Fisher-Price Mattel for 11 years. He was a member of the Goshen United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Mildred O'Leary and two brothers, Harold and Jack Edwards.
Mr. Edwards is survived by his wife, Norma Edwards, of Murray, Kentucky, they married on June 17, 1948 in Whiteville, Tennessee; five daughters, Kathy West and husband Bob of Murray, Kentucky, Dawn Earheart and husband Mark of Dresden, Tennessee, Paula Edwards and husband Dale Willis of Murray, Kentucky, Gayle Edwards of Almo, Kentucky, and Julie Miller and husband Scott of Murray, Kentucky; also surviving are five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 25, 2016, at the Goshen United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Earheart and Rev. David Allbritten officiating. Burial will follow in the Goshen United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m., Saturday, June 25, 2016 at the Goshen United Methodist Church.
