Dr. James Michael "Jim" LaValle, age 58, a resident of Murray, Kentucky for 15 years, died on, Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at his home.
Dr. LaValle was born in Chicago, Illinois, on September 11, 1962. He was a college professor, who taught at numerous colleges and universities, specializing in Sociology and Criminology.
Dr. LaValle was preceded in death by his father, Richard Donald LaValle.
He is survived by his mother, Dianne (Robinson) LaValle of Murray; and by one brother, Robert Reif and wife Marlene of Fort Worth, Texas.
There will be no public services.
