James Jimmy Murdock

Mr. James "Jimmy" Murdock age 54, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., died June 10, 2013 at his home.
Born March 27, 1959 in Murray, Ky. to the late Phillip Howard and Jeanette Walston Murdock. He was a graduate of North Hopkins High School, in Madisonville, Ky., he worked in farming for a while, then went to work for the Sebree Coal Mining Co. in Kentucky. In 1996 he moved to Tuscaloosa Ala. and continued his Mining Career with North River Mining Co., he was also a member of the UMWA Union Hall Local 1926.
Survivors include one sister, Ann Buchanan and husband Tim of Hendersonville, Tn., two nieces Ali and Rachel Buchanan, and many Murdock and Walston cousins in Calloway Co.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 30, 2013 at the Salem cemetery in Lynn Grove, Ky. Bro. John Murdock will officiate, and burial will follow.
