Mr. James Thomas Rose, age 83, of Murray, Kentucky, died Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Murray Calloway County Hospital.
Mr. Rose, along with his wife, Sue, owned and operated Rose's Wheel Alignment for thirty three years. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, and served as a deacon for fifty years. He also loved Sunday school and served as Sunday School Director. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
He was born in Calloway County on October 23, 1931 to the late George Thomas and Hilda Buena Wilson Rose.
He is survived by his loving wife Sue Rose, blessed with sixty-four years of marriage. They were married on October 7, 1950 in Corinth, Mississippi. One daughter, Jan Rose Wheeler and husband Lyndon of Soddy Daisy, TN., two granddaughters, Alisha Rose Wheeler and Krisha Lynn Wheeler of Soddy Daisy, TN., one devoted brother, Jack Rose and wife Janice of Murray, two nephews, Andy Rose and wife Dawn of Atlanta, GA., Jon Rose and wife Natalya of Nashville, TN.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 Monday, January 19, 2015 at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, Bro. Brad Walker and Bro. Darrell Walker will officiate, and burial will follow at Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be at 4:00 on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
