Mr. James H. Walker, age 80, of Murray, Kentucky died on Friday, April 28, 2017 at his home.
Mr. Walker was born in Crittenden County, Kentucky on June 20, 1936 to the late Chester Walker and Reba Travis Walker. Mr. Walker was a former Superintendent for the Murray Electric System, served in the Army during the Berlin Crisis and was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, Harvey Walker and Jimmy Travis; and three sisters, Betty Davis, Fran Goabin and Sue Powell.
Survivors include his spouse, Lillie Walker of Almo, Kentukcy, to whom he married on January 20, 1957 in Shawnee Town, Illinois; two daughters, Jean Bazzell and husband Garrett of Almo, Kentucky and Kathy Underhill and husband Tony of Dexter, Kentucky; two sisters, Anna Lou Hurzer of Arizona and Judy Woodridge of Bowling Green, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Tony Lee Underhill, Jr. and Harlan Underhill; 11 great grandchildren, Amber Lee Underhill, Makenzie Underhill, Kelly Underhill, AJ Underhill, Meagan Underhill, Lacey Underhill, Samantha Underhill, Isabella Underhill, Abigail Underhill, Ray Wilkerson and Chassis Wilkerson; as well as one great-great grandson, Mason Underhill.
A private family service will be held. There will be no public visitation or service.
