James Cory White

James Cory White, age 39, of Margate, Florida, formerly of Murray, Kentucky passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024, in Florida.

Cory was born in Murray, Kentucky on December 28, 1984. He was a member of the Calloway County High School Class of 2004. He then completed an Associate Degree in Computer Science from ITT Institute, Memphis, Tennessee in 2007.

Cory was a self-proclaimed “computer geek’ who never met a stranger. He loved the Lord and was a member of Dexter Baptist Church, Dexter, Kentucky. 

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Tommy Miller of Almo, Kentucky; as well as his aunt, Jerrilyn White of Hernando, Mississippi.

Survivors include his parents Laurie (Ernie) O’Bryan of Dexter, Kentucky and Andy (Renee) White of Hazel, Kentucky; a sister, Hannah Rose O’Bryan (David) Craig of Benton, Kentucky; maternal grandparents, Rosemary Miller of Almo, Kentucky and Dwain (Margot) McIntosh of Murray, Kentucky; paternal grandparents, Wanda (Howard) Cole of Byhalia, Mississippi and Jerry (Sheila) White of Hazel, Kentucky; as well as aunt, Patti McIntosh and uncles, Kevin McIntosh and Kent McIntosh all of Murray, Kentucky.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 11, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Bro. Brett Miles and Bro. David Little officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 11, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
