Mrs. Jane Cantrell, age 61, of Murray, Kentucky died Thursday, January 22, 2015 at her home after an extended illness.
Mrs. Cantrell was born in Ottumwa, Iowa on February 16, 1953. Mrs. Cantrell a homemaker, a Data Entry Specialist, and along with her husband ran and operated Cantrell Farms where they raised ducks and earthworms. She was a member of the Friendship Homemakers Club and attended the First United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Cantrell is survived by her parents, Jack C. Frost and Wilma I. (Johnson) Frost of Des Moines, Iowa; husband Tim Cantrell of Murray, Kentucky; son, Jim Heggen and wife Marcy of Wichita, Kansas; one daughter, Brenda Heggen Carter and husband Mike of Indianola, Iowa; as well as two grandchildren, Jordan Carter and Emily Carter.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 26, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Stahler officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 26, 2015 prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until service hour at the funeral home. Burial will follow at a later date at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter, Iowa.
