Janette Webb Murdock

Mrs. Janette Webb Murdock, age 79, of Murray, Kentucky, died Wednesday, October 07, 2015 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.

Mrs. Murdock was born in Graves County, Kentucky on June 14, 1936 to Johnie Webb and Sophine (Wilson) Webb. Mrs. Murdock was a homemaker and a member of the Williams Chapel Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Murdock was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Franklin Murdock, who died on May 9, 1992.

Mrs. Murdock is survived by one daughter, Vonda Kay Murdock of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Barry "Bear Cat" Murdock and soul mate Ginger Smith of Lynn Grove, Kentucky; four sisters, Gerelene Newsome of Missouri, Mavis Dean Murdock and husband Alfred of Lynn Grove, Kentucky, Laretta Stidham of Lexington, Kentucky and Martha Milam and husband Jerry of Bowling Green, Kentucky; one step sister, Ruthie Wilferd of Farmington, Kentucky; one step brother, Bryant Kerns of Mayfield, Kentucky; one grandson, Wesley Burris and fiancé Becca Edmonds; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Miles and Ed Davis officiating and remarks by K. Bryan Ernstberger. Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery in Lynn Grove, Kentucky. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
