Janice Barnett

Mrs. Janice Kay Barnett, age 76, of Murray, Kentucky, entered the presence of Jesus Tuesday, June 30, 2015.
Mrs. Barnett was born April 10, 1939 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, to the late Carl and Hazel Johnson Arteberry. She was a homemaker, and member of the Sugar Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, James C. Barnett of Murray, Kentucky, they married June 11, 1957 in Corinth, Mississippi; two daughters, Jamie Wade and husband Bruce of Murray, Kentucky, and Carla Thomas and husband Steve of Murray; twin brother, Jerry Arteberry and wife Pat of Grandview, Indianan; three grandchildren, Jameson Wade and wife Sara, Kyle Wade and wife Holly, and Cari Smith and husband Nathan all of Murray, Kentucky; two great grandchildren Emi Wade, James Robert Wade both of Murray, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 3, 2015 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, Pastor Brett Miles and Rev. Jordan Roach will officiate. Burial will follow in the Sugar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 2, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
