Janice C. McCuiston

Mrs. Janice C. McCuiston, age 78, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, Kentucky.

Mrs. McCuiston was born on March 6, 1943, in Marshall County, Kentucky to the late Hafford "Happy" Staples and Ernestine Thweatt Staples. She worked as a bookkeeper for Parker Ford and Gary's Food Mart in Draffenville, Kentucky. Mrs. McCusiton was a member of the New Zion Baptist Church, the Senior Adults Sunday School Class, and the Senior Saints.

Survivors include her husband, Charles "Doc" M. McCuiston of Murray, Kentucky; two daughters, LaDon Haley Berlin of Evansville, Indiana and Kristi Hopkins and husband Chris of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Tim Graham of Benton, Kentucky; two sisters, Linda Portis and husband Robert of Benton, Kentucky and Sandy Genrick and husband Ron of Prior Lake, Minnesota; four grandchildren, Adam Haley of Springfield, Illinois, Jason Haley of Evansville, Indiana, Zachery Hopkins of Murray, Kentucky, and Emily Don Hopkins of Murray, Kentucky; as well as two great-grandchildren, Audrey Haley of Paducah, Kentucky and Weston Haley of Okawville, Illinois.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, December 27, 2021, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Bro. Rodney Wallace and Bro. Dale Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., on Sunday, December 26, 2021, as well as on Monday, December 27, 2021, prior to the service from 8:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
