Ms. Janie S. Underwood, age 67, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, at the Murray – Calloway County Hospital.
Ms. Underwood was born on July 6, 1953, in Murray, Kentucky. She was a retired hairdresser and later retired as the activity director for Fern Terrace Senior Living of Murray. Ms. Underwood was a member of the Palestine United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father; William Dub Lyons; as well as two sons, Kenny Myers and Mark Lyons.
Survivors include her mother, Margie Lee Lyons of Murray, Kentucky; daughter; Heather Myers of Murray, Kentucky; brother, Steve Lyons and wife Sharon of Almo, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Ashley Lyons and fiancé Richard Spain of Dexter, Kentucky and Tyson Searer of Murray, Kentucky; as well as two great-grandchildren, Madison Spain of Hopkinsville, Kentucky and Brantley Lyons of Benton, Kentucky.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
