J.D. Chadwick

Mr. J.D. Chadwick, age 78, of Murray, Kentucky, died, Monday, July 18, 2011 at 4:40 p.m. at the Murray Calloway County Hospital. Mr. Chadwick was born in Stewart Co., TN on November 5, 1932 to the late Herlie L. Chadwick and Lola Ray Green Chadwick. Mr. Chadwick retired with the U.S. Navy after 21 years of service, while serving in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Mr. Chadwick was of Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents Mr. Chadwick was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Chadwick and one niece, Susan Chadwick.
Mr. Chadwick is survived by two brothers, Billy Joe Chadwick of Murray and Bradley L. Chadwick of Florida; four nephews, Kenny Chadwick, Herlie Chadwick, Jerry Allen Chadwick and Danny Chadwick ; as well as three nieces, Deborah Sue Warner, Dotty Renfroe and P.J. Turner all of Murray.
A graveside service will be held Friday, July 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Barnett Cemetery with Rev. Kerry Lambert officiating. Burial to follow. Visitation will be held from 9:00 -10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 22, 2011 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
