Jean Bazzell

Mrs. Jean Bazzell, age 84, of Murray, Kentucky, died Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at her home.
Mrs. Bazzell was born on October 22, 1933 in Calloway County, Kentucky to the late Fred Kirkland and Mary (Arnett) Kirkland. She was a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one sister, Sue Gamble.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Ray Bazzell of Murray, Kentucky; one daughter, Pam McDowell and husband Brent of Gastonia, North Carolina; one son, Greg Bazzell of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Evelyn Cole of Exton, Pennsylvania; one brother, Jerry Kirkland of Coldwater, Kentucky; and one grandchild, Preston McDowell of Gastonia, North Carolina.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 24, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with burial following in the Coldwater Church of Christ Cemetery. John Dale and Bob Haley will officiate. Visitation will be held Friday, August 24, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
