Mrs. Jean Potts Phillips, age 60, of Murray Kentucky, died, Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 1:13 pm in the Murray Calloway County Hospital.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ.
She was born in Murray Kentucky on June, 12, 1950 to the late Ted and Norella Kelso Potts.
She is survived by her husband Tommy Phillips of Murray Kentucky in whom she married on June 22, 1969; two sons, Johnny M. Phillips and wife Dana of Murray Kentucky, Tommy R. Phillips and wife Valerie of Murray Kentucky; three sisters, Kay Creech and husband Curt of Saint Louis Missouri, Peggy King and husband Eddie of Chapel Hill Tennessee and Jan Tucker and husband Terry of Murray Kentucky; two brothers, Billy R. Potts and wife Cindy of Murray Kentucky, Dan M. Potts of Madison Alabama; five grandchildren, Shayla, Dylan, Caden, Madison and Ella Phillips all of Murray Kentucky. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive.
Services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, April 30, 2011 in the chapel of the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. John Dale and Jason Hart will officiate with burial following in the Barnett Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 Friday, April 29, 2011 at the funeral home.
