Jerry Wade Birdsong

Mr. Jerry Wade Birdsong, age 36, of Murray, Kentucky died at the Murray Calloway County Hospital on Friday, March 18, 2016 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Mr. Birdsong was born in Nashville, Tennessee on April 14, 1979. Mr. Birdsong was employed by Southern Sheet Metal in Murray and was a member of the Calvary Temple Church.

Mr. Birdsong was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Wildy Cooper; his paternal grandfather, Wm. Lee "Bill" Birdsong; and uncle Steve Birdsong.

Mr. Birdsong is survived by his wife Nickie Birdsong of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Corbin Wade Birdsong of Murray, Kentucky; his mother, Lou-Ann Birdsong of Murray, Kentucky; his father, Tim Birdsong of Almo, Kentucky; sister, Kristin Birdsong of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, Corey Birdsong of Murray, Kentucky; maternal grandmother, Jan Cooper of Hazel, Kentucky; and his paternal grandmother, Margie Birdsong of Almo, Kentucky.


Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Young officiating. Burial will follow in the Dixon Cemetery in L.B.L. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 after 5:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
