Jerry M. "Whitie" White

Mr. Jerry M. "Whitie" White, age 79, of Hazel, Kentucky, died on Monday, November 29, 2021, at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House in Murray, Kentucky.

Mr. White was born August 30, 1942, in Hazel, Kentucky, to the late Earlie White and Ovie Adams White. Jerry was a car detailer for over 60 years, working last for Dale Nance Auto. Jerry was of the Methodist faith and served in the Tennessee National Guard. He loved 57 Chevys, Nascar, Kentucky Basketball, St. Louis Cardinal Baseball, Little League baseball and country music.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Billie Shelton and Freda Davis; nephew Nicky Davis; two nieces, Sue Brandon and Janice Shelton Meadows; great-niece Dessie Davis and great-nephew Cody Crass.

Survivors include three nieces, Sharon Davis of Hazel, Kentucky, Diane Scott of Hazel, Kentucky and Joni Beard and husband Joe of New Concord, Kentucky; also surviving are several great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Kerry Lambert officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
