Jessie B. Key

Mrs. Jessie B. Key, age 88, of Murray Kentucky, died 2:45 pm Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.
She was an employee at Lerman’s Department Store and was a homemaker. She was also member of the Kirksey United Methodist Church.
She was born June 23, 1922 in McCracken County Kentucky to the late James E and Nancy Jane Crick Chapman. In addition to her parents she was also preceded by her husband Harry Palmer Key on June 16, 1976, one son Gary Key, one great grandson Korey Chadwick, five sisters, Opha Culver, Naomi Cain, Hazel Cain, Verlene Wilkerson, Imogene Cope, two brothers James Chapman and Lennis “Doc” Chapman.
She is survived by one daughter, Judy Cunningham and husband Danny of Murray Kentucky; one son, Jerry Key of Murray Kentucky; one daughter-in-law Faye Key of Murray Kentucky; six grandchildren, Deana Chadwick and husband Rick of Murray Kentucky, Dana Prescott and husband Mark of Murray Kentucky, Denese King and husband Brad of Murray Kentucky, Debbie Dameron and husband Kim of Oxford Mississippi, Lee Ann Fox and friend Rick Eorders of Calvert City Kentucky, Jayson Key of Murray Kentucky; three great grandchildren, Keyshia Barnes and husband Jr, Whitney Keene and husband Corey, Fiona Fox; two great great grandchildren, Lane Holmes and Gavin Barnes.
Services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, October 22, 2010 in the chapel of the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Tim Palmer will officiate and burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens.
