Jimmy Lynn Futrell

Mr. Jimmy Lynn Futrell, age 69, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024, at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

 Mr. Futrell was born on January 2, 1955, in Calloway County, Kentucky, to the late James D. and Nancy Bishop Futrell. Jimmy was co-owner of Futrell Auto Sales and Ashley Mobile Wash until he was disabled from Avascular Necrosis. He also attended Murray State University and was of the Baptist faith.

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Bernice and Vennie Bishop; paternal grandparents, Rice and Dewie Futrell; father-in-law, Will Ed Stokes.

 Survivors include his wife, Terri Stokes Futrell of Murray, Kentucky, they married on July 28, 1979, in Murray, Kentucky; mother-in-law, Jane Stokes of Murray, Kentucky; four daughters, Ashley Hobbs (Zach) of Paducah, Kentucky, Amy Stone (Lucas) of Murray, Kentucky, Allyson Futrell of Ft. Walton, Florida and Annie Stom (Ty) of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Wesley Futrell (Haley Edwards) of Murray, Kentucky; sister, Reta Gray (Ronnie) of Murray, Kentucky; three brothers, Bob Futrell (Judy) of Murray, Kentucky, Marty Futrell of Murray, Kentucky and Steve Futrell (Janice) of East Alton, Illinois; six grandchildren, Carson Edwards, William Futrell, Tate Stone, Hattie Hobbs, Cohen Futrell and Elliot Stom; also several nieces, nephews, cousins and brother-in-law, Barry Stokes.

 A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at the Hicks Cemetery. Steve Futrell will officiate, and burial will follow. No public visitation will be held.
