Mr. Jimmy Loness, age 59, of Festus, Missouri passed away Tuesday, August
13, 2013 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City, Missouri. He was born November 26, 1953 in St Louis, Missouri the son of the late Ruth Mae (nee Smith) Bazzell and Charles Leon Loness. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his step-mother Edna (nee Junior) Loness and brother Charles Leon Loness.
He is survived by his wife Kathleen (nee Poiter) Loness, his step-father, Jerry Bazzell of Murray, Kentucky, a son Shawn James (Sarah) Loness of Festus, a step-son Ryan (Brittany) Panchot of Hazelwood, Missouri, sisters Karen (Jack) Smith of Kirksey, Kentucky and Cynthia Bazzell of Kirksey and a brother Wayne (Melissa) Loness of Festus.
He was a United States Army Veteran from the Vietnam era, retired from
GMP Metal Products as machinist and member of Local #1345 International Machinists and Aerospace Workers.
Visitation from 4:00 P.M. until time of service at 7:00 P.M. Friday, August 16, 2013 at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus officiated by Fr. Johnathan Wallis of Fort Worth, Texas.
Private interment will be held in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Kirksey, Kentucky. The J.H. Churchill Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
