Jo Nell Beane

Mrs. Jo Nell Steely Beane, age 83, of Murray, Kentucky died on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Town Square Care of Puryear in Puryear, Tennessee.

Mrs. Beane was born in Calloway County, Kentucky on May 9, 1934 to the late William Dexter Steely and Mary Emma (McCulough) Steely. Mrs. Beane worked at Bell South and was the owner of Charley Brown Daycare. She was also a member of the Northside Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Beane was preceded in death by her husband James H. Beane; two sisters, Mable Steely and Ruth Carlton; as well as two brothers, Guy Steely and Adolphus Paschall.

Mrs. Beane is survived by her son, Timothy Beane and wife Treasa of Hazel, Kentucky; one sister, Mary Brandon of Franklin, Tennessee; and one granddaughter, Rachel Beane of Hazel, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Bro. Brett Miles officiating. Burial will follow in the Hazel Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 14, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
