Jo Ann Humphreys

Mrs. Jo Ann Humphreys, age 78, of Murray, Kentucky, died Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House in Murray.

Mrs. Humphreys was born in Calloway County, Kentucky on July 22, 1939 to the late Claude Vaughn and Annie (Cole) Vaughn. She was employed by Peoples Bank in Murray for 13 years and later retired as Co-Owner of Jerry Humphreys Heating and Air in Murray. She was a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ.

In addition to Mrs. Humphreys parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Humphreys.

Survivors include one daughter, Jill Cleaver and husband Russell of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Jeff Humphreys and wife Beth of Clarksville, Tennessee; one brother, Jackie Vaughn and wife Suzette of Murray, Kentucky; and four grandchildren, Abby DeGrie and husband Donovan of Hendersonville, Tennessee; Wyatt Humphreys of Clarksville, Tennessee; Jessica Vance of Murray, Kentucky and Dylan Vance of Murray, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with John Dale, Garry Evans and Steven Hunter officiating. Entombment will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
