Mrs. Jo Crass Schultz, 87, of Murray, Ky., died Monday, December 06, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at the Spring Creek Health Care in Murray, Ky.
She was a homemaker, and a former bookkeeper, was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Murray, Ky., and the Gleaners Friendship Sunday school class and the Ruth Wilson Circle. Mrs. Schultz was born June 9, 1923 in Hardin, Ky.
Survivors include her husband, Fred Schultz of Murray, Ky., they married Nov. 20, 1945 in Hopkinsville, Ky., daughter, Selwyn Parker (Craig) of Memphis, Tn., sister, Marjorie Crass of Murray, Ky., two grandchildren, Matthew Parker of Murray, Ky., Leah Parker of Nashville, Tn., nieces, Selwyn McPherson of Ridgeland, Ms., Leah Hart of Murray, Ky., Stacy Hume of Old Hickory, Tn., also several great nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hardin M. and Sophia Pace Crass, brother, James L. Crass, sisters, Leah Nelle Parrish, Charlyne Clopton, and Mary Elizabeth Fulton, nephew Christopher Clopton.
Funeral service will be Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, Rev. Richard Smith and Rev. Bob Saywell will officiate, and burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
