Mrs. Joan Coles, age 78, of Murray, Kentucky, died on April 8, 2020, at the Ray & Kay Hospice Care Center in Paducah, Kentucky.
Mrs. Coles was born in Duck Town, Tennessee on November 14, 1941, to the late Johnny Carroll and Velma (Phillips) Carroll. Mrs. Coles retired from Fisher – Price / Mattel and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Coles was preceded in death by her husband, Lenice Coles, who died in 1993; and one sister, Peggy Carroll.
Mrs. Coles is survived by two daughters, Dwania Edwards and husband Alan of Hardin, Kentucky and Miranda Davenport and husband Kevin of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Harry D. Coles of Murray, Kentucky; and one granddaughter, Rochelle Jourdan and husband Jesse of Marion, Kentucky; and her four legged baby, "Little Bit".
A private graveside service was held on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at Murray Memorial Gardens with Bill Stockwell officiating.
