Joe Mark Alls

Mr. Joe Mark Alls, age 56, of Russellville, Alabama, formerly of Murray, Kentucky, died on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, at the University of Alabama-Birmingham Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.
Mr. Alls was born in Paducah, Kentucky on September 8, 1962. He had recently retired as a biology instructor at Northwest Shoals Community College in Phil Campbell, Alabama. Mr. Alls was a member of the Phil Campbell Church of Christ. He was an accomplished musician and singer and enjoyed woodworking in his past time.
Mr. Alls is preceded in death by one daughter, April Elizabeth Beck.
He is survived by his wife Selena Alls of Alabama; his parents, Willard and Martha (Harding) Alls of Murray, Kentucky; one daughter, Mary Catherine Alls of Alabama; one granddaughter, Callie Rose Beck of Alabama; and a cousin, Tommy Harding of Murray.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Timmy James, Russ Crosswhite, and Willard Alls will officiate. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service on Friday, March 8, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
