Joe Ed Boggess

Mr. Joe Ed Boggess, age 79, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away, Sunday, November 17, 2024, at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, Kentucky.

 Mr. Boggess was born on February 21, 1945, in Murray, Kentucky to the late Edgar Boggess and Allie B. Boggess. He was a retired car detailer and was of the church of Christ Faith. 

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Perscilla “Faye” (Sykes) Boggess; one son, Ricky James Boggess; two sisters, Allie Fay Boggess and Ruth Moffitt; as well as three brothers, Edgar Donlad Boggess, Jerry Max Boggess, and Bonnel Taylor.

 Survivors include one son, Ray Glenn Boggess and wife Rebecca Leigh of Murray, Kentucky; one daughter, Sherry Ann Wyatt and husband Kelvie Joe of Huntsville, Alabama; one brother, Glin Boggess of Colorado Springs, Colorado; three grandchildren, Cody Wyatt and wife Victoria, Brady “Sput” Boggess, and Riot Boggess; three great grandchildren, Peanut, Emi, and Ivory; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

 There will be no public service or visitation held at this time.
