Joe Thomas Brandon

Mr. Joe Thomas Brandon, age 81, of Murray, Kentucky, died, Monday, February 14, 2022, at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.
Mr. Brandon was born in Calloway County, Kentucky on July 4, 1940, to the late Robbie Young Brandon and Polly Demetris (Key) Brandon. He retired from General Tire as a forklift operator and was of the Methodist Faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Gene Brandon and Hal Edward Brandon.
Survivors include his wife, Carla May (Wells) Brandon of Murray, Kentucky; they were married for 60 years; two daughters, Sherri Lee Byrley and significant other Jeff Parham of Wickliffe, Kentucky and Carla Jo Rossi and husband Justin of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Edward Gene Brandon of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Rita Knight and husband Richard of Murray, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Zachary Rossi, Cayla Rossi, Camryn Rossi, Allyson Rossi, Justin Byrley, Nicole Hertter, and Elizabeth Leinberger; as well as three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at the Murray City Cemetery with Bro. Boyd Smith officiating. There will be no public visitation held.
