Joe Pat Lee passed into his Heavenly home on Friday, Nov. 1. He was born in Hazel, Ky on March 27, 1930 to the late Howard and Edith Lee. He was a graduate of Hazel High School and was a veteran of the Korean War, serving from 1951-1953.
After returning from service, he began work with Texaco. It was while on this job that he met his wife, Emma Jean Parrish, while delivering gas to a store owned by her sister. They were married on May 29, 1954.
In 1955, he started working for B.F. Goodrich in Calvert City. He spent the remainder of his working career there, retiring in 1985. After retiring, he kept busy with the shops he had built and enjoying his grandchildren.
Leaving to mourn his passing is his wife of 59 yrs., Jean, daughters Clarissa Trinosky and Debbie (Paul) Winkler of Goodlettsville, Tn. and Barry (Laurie) Lee of Murray, grandchildren, Dana Todd of Bowling Green, Ky., David Todd of Nashville, Tn., Sean Lee and Matthew Lee of Murray and Alex and Andrew Winkler of Goodlettsville, Tn., sisters Charlotte Martoccia and Peggy Gibson of Murray and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers Sam and James Lee, son-in-law Butch Trinosky and nephew Glenn Lee.
