Joe Max Raspberry

Mr. Joe Max Raspberry, age 90, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Monday, June 14, 2021, at his home.

Mr. Raspberry was born in Calloway County, Kentucky, on August 20, 1930, to the late Hubert Raspberry and Gladys (Hendricks) Raspberry. Mr. Raspberry was the owner and the operator of the Wild Raspberry Gift Shop in Murray. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, and he was a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Raspberry was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Sue Raspberry, who died on May 28, 2021; and by two sisters, and six brothers.

Mr. Raspberry is survived by several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services. John Dale will officiate, and burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
