Joe Pat Ray

Mr. Joe Pat Ray, age 75, of Murray, Kentucky died January 31, 2016 at his home.

Mr. Ray was born on July 23, 1940 in Henry County, Tennessee to the late Harold L. Ray and Myrtle Lee Lamb Ray. Mr. Ray was retired as the owner and operator at Ray's Drywall. He was a member of the Bethlehem Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents Mr. Ray was preceded in death by one brother (infant), Jackie Ray.

Mr. Ray is survived by his wife, Lisa Winters Ray to whom were married on June 1, 1985 in Murray, Kentucky; two daughters, Sandra Johnson and husband Dale of Paris, Tennessee and Melissa Walker and husband Chris of Puryear, Tennessee; one son, Kerry Pat Ray and wife Lisa of Paris, Tennessee; one sister, Frieda Robinson and husband Bill of Puryear, Tennessee; one brother, Gerald Ray and wife Sharon of Puryear, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Jade Wilkins, Whitney Thomas, Carson Ray, Drake Walker, and Hayden Walker; as well as one great-grandchild, Everly Wilkins.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bethlehem Church of Christ with Roger Burke officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00p.m., Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and also on Thursday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the Bethlehem Church of Christ.
