John Thomas Bucy

Mr. John Thomas Bucy, age 69, of Murray, Kentucky died October 4, 2014 at his residence.
He was retired but had worked at Tappen Stove Company in Murray, General Tire of Mayfield, and Lloyd Evans Masonry. He was a member of the New Concord Church of Christ. He spent twelve years in the National Guard.
He was born July 11, 1945 in New Concord, Kentucky to the late Otis Bucy and Mary Lavelle Willoughby Bucy Curd.
He is survived by two daughters, Vanessa Bucy of Murfreesboro, Tennessee Pam Bucy Eldridge and husband Todd of Fort Myers, Florida; former spouse, Brenda Cook of Murray, Kentucky; two sisters, Myra Braden and husband Donnie of Hanson, Kentucky, Sharon Christie and husband Jon of Sevierville, Tennessee.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 Wednesday, October 8, 2014 in the chapel of the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 7, 2014.
