John Jordan

Mr. John Hunt Jordan Jr, age 84, died Thursday, April 21, 2011 in Fairfax Virginia.
He was born in Clinton Kentucky March 2, 1927. He had served in the U.S. Coast Guard and was a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Emma Nance Jordan, of Fairfax Virginia, brother, Alney Jordan and wife Judy of Columbia South Carolina, two nieces, Lisa Parker and husband Ted of Snellville Georgia, and Kimberly Hammons and husband Ted of Wilmington Delaware; five nephews, David Jordan and wife Doni of Columbia South Carolina, Steven Jordan and wife LeeAnn of Smithton Illinois and Mark Jordan and wife Paula of Columbia South Carolina, Michael Jordan of Ashville South Carolina and Christopher Jordan and wife Jennifer of Newport News Virginia; four grandnieces, Elizabeth of Beaufort South Carolina, Alexandria of Wilmington Delaware, Lauren of Columbia South Carolina and Katie of Newport News Virginia; five grandnephews, Jordan of Chelsea Alabama, Clinton of Smithton Illinois, Hunt of Smithton Illinois, Spencer of Columbia South Carolina and Wesley of Newport News Virginia; two great grandnephews, Mason of Chelsea Alabama and Ted of Chelsea Alabama.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, April 29, 2011 in the Murray City Cemetery. Tim Palmer will officiate.
