Mr. Johnny Sullivan Williams, age 70, of Murray, Kentucky died at his home on Thursday, January 18, 2018,
Mr. Williams was born in Humboldt, Tennessee on January 31, 1947 to the late John Quince Williams and Mildred Milam Williams. Mr. Williams was a retired painting contractor and was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Peggy Black Williams of Murray, Kentucky, to whom he married on January 23, 1965 in Paris, Tennessee; two sons, Timothy John "Tim" Williams and wife Rhonda of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and James Richard "Jamie' Williams of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Nancy Kennon of White Bluff, Tennessee; two brothers, Phillip Alton Williams and wife Sharon of Henry, Tennessee and Gary Don Williams and wife Jan of Henry, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Austin Hunter Williams and Olivia Ann-Marie Williams both of Cape Girardeau, Missouri;
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with John Dale officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
