JoLee Gordon Clark

JoLee Gordon Clark passed from this life on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at the age of 103 in Murray KY. She has been under good care at Passion and Purpose Homecare Assisted Living and many of her family.

JoLee was born in Calloway County in the Shiloh community on November 6, 1922, to Willard and Beulah Gordon. She married Wayne Wells Clark in 1940 at the age of 17. They spent the majority of their days living at their farm on McDougal Drive on 94 East. Both were active members at Friendship Church of Christ. She was very much loved and respected by her fellow church members, neighbors, caregivers, and especially her family.

JoLee is preceded by her husband of 67 years, Wayne and son-in-law, Nick Horton; four sisters, Kathleen Phelps, Ruth Trimble, Deen Grogan, and Patty Young; two grandchildren, Tony Horton and Jesse Dan Horton; as well as one great-great granddaughter, Olivia Onofre.

Surviving are daughters, Frankie Horton, Judy Overbey (Don) all of Murray, and Ronda Muller (Glenn) of Hobe Sound, FL.; six grandchildren, Mickey Overbey, Nick Allen Horton, Wayne Clark Horton, Ladona Lawson, Trey Ingram, and Kelsey Campalong; also surviving are 17 great grandchildren and 21 great great grandchildren.

JoLee deeply loved all in her family and will truly be missed. Her love for God was evident throughout her life and her legacy will live on through her descendants.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with John Dale officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
