Mr. Joseph W. Fischer Sr., age 69, of Murray, Kentucky died on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at his home.
He was retired from Industrial Maintenance for General Electric in Louisville, Kentucky.
He was born August 2, 1945 in Louisville Kentucky to the late Daniel J. and Virgie L. Bowman Fischer. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by one sister, Joyce E. Brummel.
Mr. Fischer is survived by his wife Crystal Maddox Fischer of Murray, Kentucky; They were married in Louisville, Kentucky on November 13, 1965; one daughter, Paula Brantley and husband Darrell of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Joseph W. Fischer Jr. and wife Connie of Memphis, Indiana; one son-in-law, Shannon Dossey of Louisville, Kentucky; two brothers, Daniel L. Fischer and wife Lola of Shepherdsville, Kentucky and Richard A. Fischer and wife Lois of Brooks, Kentucky; one brother-in-law, Walter C. Maddox III and wife Betty of Campbellsville, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Cassandra Steiner and husband Jordan, Jessica Fischer, Aaron Dossey and Joshua Dawson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 11, 2015 after 5:00 pm with a brief memorial service to be held at 7:45 pm with Rev. Brett Miles officiating. Burial will take place in the Saint Elizabeth Cemetery in Clarkson, Kentucky at 2:00 pm central standard time Tuesday, May 12, 2015.
