Josephine R. Miller

Mrs. Josephine R. Miller, age 91, of Murray, Kentucky died Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House.

Mrs. Miller was born on January 18, 1927, in Vienna, Austria to the late Franz Bolt and Anna Trondl Bolt. She retired from Lynnhurst Resort and was a member of the Locust Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Leland Franklin Miller, to whom she was married on September 18, 1949, in Austria; four sons, Donny Jean Miller, James Thomas Miller, Mark Kent Miller and Robert Ray Miller.

She is survived by three daughters, Linda Canup of Paducah, Kentucky, Brenda Hurt of Almo, Kentucky, Nancy Evans and husband Russell of Murray, Kentucky; two sons, Joseph Miller and wife Janet of Murray, Kentucky, and Johnny Miller and significant other Gail Gipson; 13 grandchildren, Anthony Miller, Lucas Miller, Rachel Coursey, Travis Miller, Jessica Garnett, Lindsey Reigle, Karson Canup, Kayla Neal, Cole Hurt, Corey Evans, Justin Miller, Steven Miller and Nicholas Miller; and 26 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, December 20, 2018, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Bro. Brett Miles officiating. Burial will follow in the Palestine Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2018, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
