Mrs. Juanita Seay Harrison, age 93, of Farmington, Kentucky, died Friday, December 20, 2013, at her daughter's home.
Mrs. Harrison was born April 23, 1920 in Dukedom, Kentucky, to the late John and Maude Canter Seay. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Harrison; two brothers, Tom Seay and Ernest Seay
She was a retired salesperson with the Rhodes Buford Furniture Company, was a proud graduate of Mayfield High School and the cardinal continued to be her favorite bird; she was also a member of the Antioch church of Christ.
She is survived by four daughters, Jane Steely and husband Walter Lee of Hazel, Kentucky, Deb Smith and husband Tom of Farmington, Kentucky, Pat Harrington and husband David, Nan Rogers and husband Dwaine all of Murray, Kentucky; two sons, John Harrison and wife Linda of Chicago Illinois, David Harrison and wife Renae of Hodgenville, Kentucky; one sister, Olena Sloan of Austin, Texas; sister-in-law, Georgia Nell Jordan of Farmington, Kentucky; fourteen grandchildren, Miranda Miller and husband Eddie of Farmington, Kentucky, Elizabeth Harper and husband Eric of Louisville, Kentucky, Kim Sexton and husband Tim of Memphis, Tennessee, Leigh Ann Grady and husband Raymond, Leslie Franklin and husband Terry, Jack Smith and wife Francie, Katie Smith, Lynda Shutt and husband Brant, Miriam Hill and husband Jason all of Murray, Kentucky, Nita Hill and husband Chris, Jennifer Sturgeon and husband Russ, Jonathan Harrison, Meagan Baldwin and husband Zach all of Nashville, Tennessee, Leland Steely and wife Mary of Sebree, Kentucky; nineteen great grandchildren, Taylor Grady, Kayla Grady, Alicia Grady, Suzanna Grady, Olivia Franklin, Joshua Franklin, Terry Franklin Jr., Lydia Smith, Kyra Shutt, Kenna Shutt, Lauren Hill, Tristan Hill, Morgan Hill, Madison Hill all of Murray, Kentucky, Harrison Hill, Zelda Sturgeon, Henry Baldwin all of Nashville, Tennessee, Sarah Steely, Walter Steely both of Sebree, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 pm Monday, December 23, 2013 at the Antioch Church of Christ. Al Colley and Lloyd Canter will officiate with burial to follow in the Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 22, 2013 from 4:00 – 8:00 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home; visitation will also be held from 12:00 noon till funeral hour at the church.
