Julia Ann Parker

          Mrs. Julia Ann “Judy” Parker, age 95, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024, at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

          Mrs. Parker was born on May 25, 1928, in Calloway County, Kentucky to the late Vernon V. Hart and Verna Mae (Brown) Hart. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Murray, Kentucky.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Hugh Parker; and one brother, Vernon Eugene Hart.

          Survivors include five nephews, Mark Davidson and wife Jan of Colleyville, Texas, David Parker and wife Martha of Murray, Kentucky; Dr. Steve Davidson and wife Clay of Jackson, Mississippi, John Davidson and wife Marisa of Jackson, Mississippi, and Rich Hart of Charlotte, Michigan; two nieces, Cathy Andersen of Charlotte, Michigan and Beverly Noland of Murray, Kentucky; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Hart of Charlotte, Michigan and Charlotte Parker of Murray, Kentucky; as well as several great nieces and nephews.

          A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 23, 2024, at the Murray City Cemetery with Bro. Keith Inman officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m., Thursday, May 23, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
