Mrs. Julia Lunelle Phillips, age 94, of Murray, Kentucky died Saturday, March 21, 2020, at her daughters' home.
Mrs. Phillips was born on June 3, 1925, in Calloway County, Kentucky to the late Radie Brooks and Thelma (Ward) Brooks. She was retired from Fisher Price and a member of the Palestine United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Mozelle Phillips; one son, Joe Wayne Colson; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Colson; as well as her sister, Elene Alexander.
Survivors include one daughter, Brenda Oakley and husband Bruce of Murray, Kentucky; one grandchild, Monica Inglish and husband David of Symsonia, Kentucky; three great grandchildren, Brendan Inglish, Ryan Inglish, and Elli Inglish; as well as three special nieces, Barbara Hendon of Murray, Kentucky, Tonya Alexander of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, and Michelle Garland and husband Mike of Murray, Kentucky.
Due to the current events surrounding the viral pandemic of the coronavirus the Phillips family will have a private visitation and graveside service to respect the government guidelines.
