June Hopkins

Mrs. June Hopkins, age 90, of Murray, Kentucky, died Thursday, July 06, 2017 at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray, Kentucky.

Mrs. Hopkins was retired from the Owen's Food Market after 30 years and a member of the Flint Baptist Church.

She was born in Calloway County, Kentucky on January 30, 1927 to the late Will and Nellis Theobald Williams. In addition to her parents Mrs. Hopkins was preceded in death by three brothers, Plomer James Williams, Homer Fred Williams and Billy Williams.

Mrs. Hopkins is survived by her husband, Paul Hopkins of Murray, Kentucky, to whom she married in Corinth, Mississippi on October 26, 1946; one daughter, Gina Brandon and husband Randy of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Josephine Robinson of Murray, Kentucky; one granddaughter, Holly Georgiou and husband PJ of Murray, Kentucky; as well as two great grandchildren, Sophie Georgiou and Savannah Georgiou.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 9, 2017 in the chapel of the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Bro. Glenn Cope and Bro. Bill Miller will officiate with burial to follow in the Scott's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 Sunday, July 9, 2017 at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.
