SHIPP, JUNE FRANCES ISAACS, 72, was born August 18, 1938 in Campbellsville, KY and died December 16, 2010.
She was graduated from Campbellsville High School and later from St. Joseph Infirmary School of Nursing in Lexington, KY in 1959, and attended Campbellsville University. She was employed by Rosary Hospital and Taylor County Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY.
Later, she was the Operating Room Director at the St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Louisville; Lee Moffet Cancer Center in Tampa, FL; and Palm Beach Regional Hospital in Wellington, FL. She spent three years as O.R. Director at Prestonsburg Regional Hospital in Prestonsburg, KY.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Edith Frances Carroll.
She is survived by her son, Steven Jarrett Smith of Campbellsville, KY; two sisters, Imogene Isaacs of West Palm Beach, FL and Dr. Jann Isaacs Aaron, M.D. and husband, Dr. W. Henry Baughman of Smithfield, KY; one brother, Terry Isaacs and his wife, Karen and son, Drew and granddaughter, Josey Ann of Murray, KY, her fiancée, Hugh Sam Williams D.V.M. and his two children, John Sam Williams and wife, Nicole and Allison Williams; and three grandchildren, Grayson and Harrison Willard and Amelia Williams, all of Oldham County.
Memorial service will be 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. prior to service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Habitat for Humanity, 2777 S. Floyd St., Louisville, KY 40209 or Hosparus of Louisville, 3532 Ephrain-McDowell Dr., Louisville KY 40205, in memory of June.
