Karen Lynn Belcher

Mrs. Karen Lynn Edwards Belcher, age 57, of Murray, Kentucky, died Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Baptist Health in Paducah, Kentucky.

Mrs. Belcher was born January 4, 1960 in Murray, Kentucky. Karen was a member of the Kirksey Baptist Church, accepting Christ as her personal savior on July 20, 1969. Actively serving the Lord, in Pre- School Children's Church and Children's Sunday School Class for many years. She taught two generations of children. She was a 1978 graduate of Calloway County High School, member of the Murray-Calloway County Fair Board. Retired from Belcher Oil Company as secretary and treasurer. Member of the Kentucky Jaycees, and a Kentucky Jaycee Senator.

Mrs. Belcher is survived by her husband Brad Belcher of Murray, Kentucky, they married June 23, 1979 in Kirksey, Kentucky; one son, Jordan Brock Belcher of Murray, Kentucky; parents, William and Gela Edwards of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, Keith Edwards of Murray, Kentucky; father and mother in law, Joe and Carleen Belcher of Murray, Kentucky; sister in law, Jill Barrett of Murray, Kentucky; brother in law, Tim Belcher and wife Tonie of Murray, Kentucky; uncles and Aunts, Dan and Saundra Edwards of Murray, Kentucky, Glen David Edwards of Murray, Kentucky; also, several Nieces, Nephews, and Great Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Bro. Van Russell will officiate, and burial will follow in the Kirksey Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m., Friday, November 24, 2017 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
