                Mrs. Karen Jo Birdsong, age 68, of Almo, Kentucky, passed away Monday, April 29, 2024, at her home.

 

          Mrs. Birdsong was born on March 16, 1956, in Calloway County, Kentucky to the late Joe Rob Haley and Barbara Doors Haley. Karen was a retired teacher’s aide with the Calloway County School System and was a member of the Independence Community Church.

 

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Lena Haley Stewart; nephew, Jeremy Haley.

 

          Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Birdsong of Almo, Kentucky, they married on April 19, 1974, in Almo, Kentucky; two daughters, Jessica Barrett and husband Andrew of Bardstown, Kentucky and Jennifer Rhodes and husband Erik of Bremen, Kentucky; brother, Alan Haley of Almo, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Wesley Barrett and Ben Barrett of Bardstown, Kentucky, Jamie Rhodes and Lucas Rhodes both of Bremen, Kentucky.

 

          Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 3, 2024, at the Temple Hill Cemetery. No public visitation will be held.

 

          Expressions of sympathy may go to your favorite charity in memory of Karen Jo Birdsong.
