Karen Betty Vendetti, age 63, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Sunday, January 10, 2021, at the Murray – Calloway County Hospital.
Karen was born on August 22, 1957, in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Peter Anthony Vendetti and Elizabeth Louise Turrentine Vendetti. She worked as a cashier for the Piggly Wiggly grocery store in Nashville, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Newton; and brother, Tony Vendetti.
Survivors include her sister, Leticia Woodside of Nashville, Tennessee; her aunt, Sandy Valentine of West Linn, Oregon; cousins, John Hutt of Roy, Utah, Mark Hutt of Denver, Colorado, Vincent Hutt of Nashville, Tennessee, Ivy, Peggy, and Lauren Turrentine.
A Celebration of Life for Karen Vendetti will be held any time after 12:00 p.m., on Friday, January 15, 2021, at her residence, 290 Billy Paschall Road, Murray, Kentucky 42071.
Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Murray-Calloway County Animal Shelter, 81 Shelter Lane, Murray, Kentucky 42071.
