Kathleen Phelps

Kathleen (Gordon) Phelps, 93, of Franklin, Tennessee, died on Sunday, November 30th, 2014, at her daughter's home in Franklin Tennessee surrounded by her family. She was born January 1, 1921, in Murray, Kentucky. She was a life-long homemaker and raised 3 children.
She was preceded in death by her husband Elwood Phelps, her parents, Willard and Beulah Gordon and her sister Patty Young.

She is survived by her son Roger Phelps and wife, Janice of Queen Creek, Arizona, and two daughters, Martha Grizzell and her husband, Larry of Lake George, Colorado, and Linda Magness and her husband, Danny of Franklin, Tennessee; her three sisters, Jo Clark, Deen Grogan and her husband, Charles, and Ruth Trimble all of Murray, Kentucky; 10 grandchildren, Wayne Grizzell and his wife, Wendy of Florissant, Colorado, Todd Grizzell and his wife, Tanya of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Neal Grizzell and his wife, Jennifer of Franklin, Tennessee, Kimberly Tjalkens and her husband, Ron, of Fort Collins, Colorado, Keith Phelps of Queen Creek, Arizona, and Krystin Costales of San Marcos, California, Scott Magness of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Dawn Magness of Nashville, Tennessee, Dana Cunningham-Magness and her husband, Garry of College Grove, Tennessee, Kari Cabale and her husband, Eric of College Grove, Tennessee; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held December 3rd, 2014 between 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home in Murray, Kentucky, and funeral services will commence at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Murray City Cemetery, Murray, Kentucky, John Dale will officiate.
