Kay Weber

Mrs. Kay Houston Roberts Weber, age 73, of Murray, Kentucky, died Thursday, August 06, 2015 at her home.

Mrs. Weber was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 12, 1941 to the late Hoyt Roberts and Minnie Marshall Adams Roberts. She married Charles Eugene Addison and together had two children. Mrs. Weber was a graduate of Murray High School and of Murray State University. Mrs. Weber was a retired school teacher who taught in several different locations. She taught school in Savannah Georgia, in Marshall County, Kentucky, and after moving to Osmond, Nebraska in 1975 she taught English at Wausa Public Schools. During this time she married Damon Weber of Plainview, Nebraska. Mr. Weber died in 1992 and Mrs. Weber retired and moved to Murray, Kentucky in 1994. After moving to Murray Mrs. Weber worked as the coordinator of the Migrant Program for the Murray City School System until her second retirement. Mrs. Weber was a member of the Cherry Corner Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents and husband Mrs. Weber was preceded in death by one sister, Anna Requarth; a twin brother, Ray Roberts; granddaughter, Courtney Koehler; and a special love, Ronald Adams.

Mrs. Weber is survived by one daughter, Eugenia "Genia" Kay Donley and husband Bill of Benton, Kentucky; one son, Kyle Allen Addison and wife Amber of Hazel, Kentucky; sister-in-law, Ramona Roberts of Murray, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Lauren Koehler and Ethan Koehler both of Benton, Kentucky, Kristin Addison of North Carolina and Joshua Addison of Murray, Kentucky; two step grandsons, Shaun Donley of Colorado and Joshua Donley of Florida; and one step great granddaughter, Sara Donley of Colorado.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Kerry Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at the Hicks Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2015 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
