Mr. Keith Alan Black age 57, of New Concord, Kentucky, died, Thursday, April 4, 2013 at his home.

He was of Baptist faith; he was a former carpet salesman for A Plus Carpet & Vinyl, he was currently a custodian for Winslow Dining Hall at Murray State University.

He was born in Highland Park, Michigan on June 19, 1955 to the late James Brent and Pansy Faye Sanders Black. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by one brother Ruford James Black

He is survived by his wife, Mary Strode Black of New Concord, Kentucky, he was married March 10, 1979 in Murray, Kentucky; one daughter, Carla Black Graves and husband Dr. James Christopher of Paris, Tennessee; one son, Jonathan Black of New Concord, Kentucky; three sisters, Kim Hopkins, Janet Keeling and Judy Lamb; two brothers, Ronnie Black and Gary Black.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, April 7, 2013 in the chapel of the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Keith Pipitone will officiate with burial to follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the funeral home.
